Purchase Engineer

Job Title: Purchase / Procurement Engineer (Mechanical)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage day-to-day material planning and prioritization based on production requirements.
2. Conduct vendor analysis and select suppliers based on quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
3. Verify Purchase Orders (POs) and understand material urgency to ensure timely procurement.
4. Coordinate closely with the Production Team to ensure continuous material availability and avoid delays.
5. Maintain regular follow-up with vendors for on-time delivery of materials.
6. Collaborate with the Accounts Team for invoice verification, payment follow-ups, and documentation.
7. Monitor and optimize procurement costs while maintaining required quality standards.
8. Maintain proper records of purchases, vendor details, and inventory status.

Qualification:

1. B.E. in Mechanical Engineering

Skills Required:

1. Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
2. Good communication and coordination ability
3. Basic knowledge of procurement processes and materials
4. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
